Mosaic
Mosaic is a contemporary tile company based in Adelaide, South Australia, specialising in architectural surfaces that bring texture, character and creativity into residential and commercial spaces. The new identity was developed around a simple but powerful idea: if tile is the medium, why not build the brand from tiles themselves?
What we delivered
Identity Design
Rather than treating the logo as a graphic applied to the business, the identity transforms it into a modular system constructed from square tile forms. The result is a visual language that feels authentic to the industry while celebrating the endless combinations, materials and patterns that make tile selection such a creative part of the design process.
Each element of the identity references the act of laying tiles, arranging modules and creating something unique from simple geometric pieces. The pixel-like forms allow the brand to evolve across signage, packaging, printed collateral, digital applications and architectural environments while remaining instantly recognisable.
The system also reflects the renovation journey itself. Choosing tiles is often one of the most expressive moments in designing or renovating a home. It is where function meets personality, and where material choices shape the atmosphere of a space for decades to come. The Mosaic identity captures this sense of possibility through a flexible visual framework that feels both architectural and playful.
A restrained material palette of natural stone, textured papers and warm neutral tones grounds the identity in the Australian architectural landscape, while vibrant tiled graphics inject moments of energy and craft throughout the brand experience.
The result is a branding system that is more than a logo. It is a design language inspired by the product itself, communicating diversity, creativity and the enduring beauty of carefully considered materials. The identity positions Mosaic as a premium Adelaide tile company with a contemporary architectural perspective and a brand that is as adaptable as the spaces it helps create.
